We all have a light to shine in this dark world. You may think you don’t have a purpose, that your life doesn’t matter, but it does.
God created you and me on purpose for a purpose.
Don’t waste another moment thinking this world doesn’t need the light God has placed in you to shine. I believe that we were all created for such a time as this. Unlike Queen Esther, it may not involve marriage to a king and risking our lives to save an entire nation. But God has plans for each one of us that are better than we could have foreseen for ourselves.
Your being here is no mistake.
Whether your name is famous and you have millions of followers or anyone barely notices you, God sees you.
In the mundane of life, you have a light. If you’re a mom up in the middle of the night rocking a child to sleep and at the end of your rope, take heart. It’s not useless work.
It’s kingdom work.
If you’re a graduate wondering where God wants you to go next, take heart. You don’t have to know all the answers. You just have to be obedient to God’s steady leading and be present today.
You have a light that isn’t meant to be hidden. Even when the world tries to suffocate the flame so that you feel as if it flickers and barely glows, keep holding on and shine all the brighter.
